We are excited to announce that Dr. Vikram Durairaj will be joining our practice full-time this spring. Before joining Texas Oculoplastic Consultants, Dr. Durairaj was a Professor of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He served as the Director of the Ophthalmology Residency Program and Director of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship. He also served as the Co-Director of Medical School Education in the Department of Ophthalmology. Dr. Durairaj has given over 250 national and international lectures and courses, has published over 100 peer-reviewed manuscripts, chapters, and abstracts, and has served as editor and reviewer for 18 scholarly publications. He has received several achievement awards from the Academy of Ophthalmology as well as from US News and World Report. We are very excited and proud to welcome Dr. Durairaj as we know his surgical skill and expertise in oculoplastics will only improve our practice.
