Dr. Anish Abrol was born in Flint, Michigan. From an early age, he had a fascination with the field of medicine and ultimately to become a physician. He graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Neuroscience. Dr. Abrol then completed his medical training at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. It was during his medical school training that he developed a keen interest in otolaryngology.
Dr. Abrol went on to complete his residency in otolaryngology – head & neck surgery at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. During his residency he was appointed to leadership positions within the Department of Otolaryngology, Graduate Medical Education, and served as a resident liaison to the American Academy of Otolaryngology. During his residency training, Dr. Abrol developed a particular passion for facial plastic surgery, so upon completion of his residency he continued his training with a one-year fellowship in facial plastic & reconstructive surgery at the University of Washington in Seattle. He is excited to now bring his expertise to TOC Eye and Face here in Austin.
Dr. Abrol has many professional interests including management of the aging face, facial aesthetics, cosmetic and functional rhinoplasty, skin cancer, skin cancer reconstruction, otoplasty, microtia, facial reanimation, and craniofacial trauma.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Abrol has many interests. He is an avid golfer and enjoys sports. He also enjoys traveling, reading, and exploring with his wife, Monica, his son, and their dog, Archie.
