Sculptra® is an injectable biostimulatory aesthetic treatment containing poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA). Rather than simply adding immediate volume like a traditional filler, Sculptra® stimulates the body to produce new collagen, gradually improving facial volume, skin thickness, firmness, and contour. PLLA particles stimulate a controlled fibroblastic response and collagen production. Results develop progressively over several weeks to months and may last for several years, depending on the patient and location site.
