Forehead mass removal is a minor facial surgical procedure used to remove benign, localized lesions such as a lipoma (soft-tissue fatty mass) or osteoma (benign bony growth). The goal is complete removal while minimizing visible scarring and preserving the natural contour of the forehead.
The lesion is removed through a small incision, often placed within a natural forehead crease or hairline using an endoscopic approach when appropriate. The lipoma or osteoma is carefully dissected from the surrounding tissue and removed intact. The underlying bone is smoothed to restore a natural forehead contour. Closure is performed with fine sutures to optimize the cosmetic result.
