Doctor Kieran Boochoon is a native Texan who grew up in Sugar Land, Texas. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with University Honors and Honors in Major from the University of Houston Honors College, majoring in biology with a minor in Medicine and Society. Dr. Boochoon earned his Doctor of Medicine from Texas A&M College of Medicine, graduating with honors and was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He underwent his residency training in Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center where he gained strong clinical skills and developed a passion for facial plastic surgery. He then went on to complete an elite Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship at the Texas Center for Facial Plastic and Laser Surgery in San Antonio, training under internationally recognized facial plastic surgeon, Dr. Jose Barrera. His training emphasizes advanced preservation rhinoplasty techniques, extended preservation deep plane facelift surgery, facial rejuvenation, and complex facial reconstruction.

Throughout his career, Dr. Boochoon has been deeply involved in national leadership and education. He is an active member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He has served on multiple national committees, including Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Education, Emerging Trends & Technology, Fellowship Education, Evidence-Based Medicine, and Membership Relations. He has contributed to resident and fellow curriculum development and advocating for patients, thus shaping the future of facial plastic surgery education and healthcare policy nationwide.

Dr. Boochoon has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications with topics including rhinoplasty, facial nerve analysis, artificial intelligence applications in facial diagnosis, wound healing, and reconstructive outcomes. His work has been accepted in leading journals including Facial Plastic Surgery and Facial Plastic Surgery Clinics of North America. Additionally, he serves as reviewer for several prominent scholarly journals. He has also participated as a principal investigator in clinical trials investigating innovative treatments for nasal airway obstruction and obstructive sleep apnea, reflecting his commitment to both aesthetic and functional excellence.

Outside of surgery, Dr. Boochoon enjoys weightlifting, swimming, traveling, strategy games, cooking, and golfing—hobbies that reflect the balance and creativity he brings to his surgical practice. Dr. Boochoon believes that facial plastic surgery is where science meets artistry. His approach is centered on precision, preservation, and personalization.
