Dr. Preston Choi was born in San Jose, California and moved to Oklahoma at an early age. He attended the University of Oklahoma where he graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Electing to remain in the Sooner State, he continued his education at the OU College of Medicine, where he quickly developed a strong interest in surgery. Ultimately he decided to pursue a career in Ophthalmology, completing both his internship and residency training at the University of Texas Southwestern.

Driven by a passion for leadership, Dr. Choi brings a proven track record of mentorship and education to his practice. He was elected by his peers to serve as Class President throughout his four years of medical school. During his residency training, he earned high praise for his clinical and surgical aptitude and was selected by faculty to serve as a Chief Resident. Dr. Choi remains committed to this passion by supporting the future generations of surgeons.

Beyond his professional life, Dr. Choi has many interests including travel, craftwork, and watching or playing any and all sports. Above all, he cherishes time spent with his wife, Darci, and their two young children.
